The Anderson Alumni Festival is an annual competitive film festival
organized by alumni of the Anderson School of management at UCLA.
The festival is a one evening affair with submissions open to
any short film or video whose producer, director, screenwriter,
actor, or other crew person has earned an undergraduate or graduate
degree from an accredited business school.
The
goal of the festival is to showcase filmmakers who have taken
a non-traditional career path after their business school education
and have participated in the creation, production, post-production,
marketing or distribution of filmed or videotaped entertainment
product.
The 2005 Festival program featured six short films, audience and
industry jury awards, and a keynote presentation by Anderson alum
Mark AMin, Vice-Chairman of Lions Gate Entertainment.
