In response to your question, here is what I’d like to share:

Each of the marketing tools you mentioned is definitely valuable. Ideally, you would want all of them to be part of your marketing strategy and plan to get as many qualified leads as possible to support you to grow your business.

Email marketing is known to have one of the highest conversion rates (around 3%) when properly executed and timed. It is a good way to nurture your prospects and clients on a regular basis and that way stay on the top of their mind when a need for your services or/ and products arise.

Mail marketing is making a come back due to the over use of electronic media in business communication. The average conversion rate is below 0.5 %. Due to the printing and shipping costs involved, it is necessary to plan a marketing campaign with a powerful message to get a good return on the investment.

Referral-based is great and usually the sales process is easier when you receive a lead from a referral. Establishing a network of power partners is a great way to boost the number of referrals you would receive.

Once that said, before choosing your next marketing move, I would need to know more about your business, your ideal client as well as your marketing budget to be able to make a recommendation.

If you are interested, we could talk together about your marketing goals and discover what would make sense for you and your business. Here is my phone # (310) 356-6177. Feel welcome to give me a call at your best convenience.

Have a great afternoon and looking forward to our conversation!

- It adds valuable content to the company website to reinforce its visibility as an expert on its market, reinforce its position as the place to visit to learn more about its products and services as well as boost the strength of its strategic keywords for search engines,

- It keeps the site current by adding new information regularly (increase the authority and ranking of the site for Search Engines)

- It creates new pages with interesting content (sales, education, FAQs …) that will support the lead generation process.

So blogging is definitely valuable.

Now, in order for the company website to benefit from the blogging investment in resources, the blog needs to be present under the same domain name. The URL should look like YourCompanyName.com /blog/title_of_the_blog_post or blog.YourCompanyName.com.

By not doing so, all the benefits mentioned above would be diluted.

The ultimate goal of blogging is to grow YourCompanyName.com website, to keep it current and to make it a good resource center for your prospects and customers or clients.

A Little Logo L’amour

The popular cliché claims that a photograph is worth a thousand words. But when it comes to your brand, a thousand words might not be enough. You need a logo that speaks volumes.

At Not Maurice, we love telling your brand’s full story in the blink of an eye.

Recently, Westchester Streetscape Improvement Association (WSIA) needed our expertise. Their mission is to beautify the Westchester area and provide benefits to residents, businesses and visitors. As part of that effort, they needed a logo with personality that reflected their role in the community.

After evaluating the situation and performing market research, we transformed their visual identity to achieve these goals.

The Not Maurice Graphic Process:
- Added a variety of people to represent the target market.
- Added a line of trees to reflect their products and services.
- Magnified Westchester, the area they serve.
- Used a line to convey curb appeal: their ultimate goal.

The result? A logo that clarifies the WSIA narrative—and strengthens their brand.

Success! We love that. In fact, we specialize in it.

In today’s overwhelming economy, business owners are pressured to do more with less. As a full-service agency, we would like to share three key marketing tips to achieve powerful marketing results.

Trap # 1: Spending that doesn’t create results.

One of our clients invested around $6,000 in optimizing their website prior to working with us. They paid $995 over six months to get a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) company to submit their website and monitor their keywords—and didn’t get any tangible results. They then concluded that SEO didn’t work for them and gave up thinking about SEO for their website.

In time, the client reluctantly decided to give SEO a new shot with Not Maurice. After working together on their online presence strategy and implementation, we were able to double their traffic within two months for one quarter of the budget.

Ask yourself: “Where am I stuck with my marketing because I didn’t get results in the past?”

The Solution: create a cohesive marketing strategy and plan before you invest in order to maximize your return on investment.

Trap # 2: Leaving money on the table because your business online presence is not properly established.

You’ve just launched your business or product, and you’re tempted to let the whole world know you exist. You’ve identified your marketing strategy and you’re ready to move forward. But as an entrepreneur and business owner, the rush to create profiles on Facebook, Twitter and other social media tools may actually hinder your online presence. Establishing an efficient online presence requires clarity, expertise, consistency, forethought and an understanding of metrics. It is crucial to choose the right social media tools and properly establish them—as part of a whole marketing system that works for your business.

Frustration with social media tools is common, as most don’t know how to properly engage with their audience. Perhaps you’ve heard stories from entrepreneurs who express their frustrations about social media. Are you in this position? Do you wonder what else you can be doing to convert a virtual audience into real life customers?

The Solution: invest smartly in your online presence to create effective marketing strategies. Work with a social media strategist to uncover your best route to engaging with the online world.

Trap # 3: Working with several professionals in order to save money

In our day-to-day practice at Not Maurice, we are often amazed by the frustrations many business owners share with us. Common gripes include:
- The challenge to embrace new marketing tools while running their business in a very competitive market
- Working with unreliable freelancers who provide inadequate material or stop the job in the middle of a project
- The necessity to reiterate your visions and goals to your team of collaborators: graphic designers, web designers, printers and social media gurus.

Have you consider how you will get your support team organized? Is it possible to have everyone on the same page?

The Solution: Your dollars will go further when you choose an integrative approach. Choose one company that offers all the services you need to create your marketing and advertising campaign and eliminate wasted time.

Being aware of these traps will help you make better decisions for the future of your business.

For business owners, moving forward with implementing a marketing strategy can be both grueling and overwhelming. One step forward is definitely not sufficient to achieve powerful results. The key, it seems, is tireless pursuit and unrelenting dedication to strategy. As Napoleon Hill said, “Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.”

After many years of working with business owners as a full-service agency, we realized that mastering marketing tools had indispensable value. Yet there remained gold to be mined: supporting our clients with a commitment to their own success. One way to do so is by offering them coaching. Coaching is powerful tool to help business owners stay on track and achieve desired results.

Combining a marketing strategy with coaching is a great strategy to uncover greater results.
